Sketchbook
Mask Jambalaya
One of our assignments for Drawing II, was to create a pencil outline of a photo our teacher sent to us, and create an outline with a pencil, and then go over it with a pen while using a pen to create the shading for it as well. This was done in my Sketchbook and is one of my favorite pieces I've ever created. I've learned I enjoy drawing using a pen, just the way it looks makes me happy to look at it. This was created using pencil and pen.
Van Gogh Practice
Another assignment for Drawing II for our sketchbook was to create a pencil outline of a Van Gogh piece that our teacher picked and then go over it with a pen again to get an idea of the mark-making and practice shading with our pen and making sure it's structurally sound with our pencil. This came out very well and I enjoyed making this piece. This was created using pencil and pen.
Neverending line Practice 1
During all of my drawing classes, we had extra mini assignments called Neverending Lines. The goal was to put our pen onto the paper and never lift it up. These were my favorite assignments to make. This one was made in figure drawing I, and all of them were based on another artist's art. whether by name or a piece handed to us in class. In figure drawing, we did a neverending line of pencil first then outlined it in pen afterward. This was made using a pencil and pen.
Neverending line Practice 2
This was another Neverendingline but this was made using just a pen. We mimicked the line markings of another artist. We used it as practice since this was also a neverending line piece from the artist themself. This was my take on it and was one of my favorite pieces I've ever made. I really enjoyed making this one. This was made using a pencil and pen.
Neverending line Practice 3
Another Neverending line that was made during Drawing II. This was another pen-only piece, we copied the lines and matched the artist while never lifting our pen. This was a great piece and I enjoyed very much making it. I've very much enjoyed all my assignments that involved using a pen. This was made using a pencil and pen.
Neverending line Practice 4
During Figure drawing, we had to make a neverending line, with pencil first, and then outlined with a pen afterward, each week, alongside our other assignments. These were very relaxing to do for me because our teacher would give us a list of artists. and we looked through their pieces and picked one and created a neverending line out of it. This was made using a pencil and pen.
Neverending line Practice 5
This was another Figure Drawing I neverending line practice. I went with an artist piece that looked like it had a few different cars, because I never really did any neverending lines that involved a street with cars, and I felt it would make for a good piece. This was made using a pencil and pen.
Neverending line Practice 6
Another Figure Drawing I class assignment, I decided to pick a piece to make a neverending line of that involved a lot going on. This artist's piece looked like it would make for a good neverending line with the connection of the pieces on the floor with just the interior of a house in general and how they connect together. I enjoyed the outcome of this piece. This was made using a pencil and pen.
Neverending line Practice 7
My final Neverending line practice from Figure Drawing I. This I would say is one of my favorite pieces of my figure drawing neverending lines. I enjoyed how this one turned out with the person and all of the bags on the cart. This one was a very enjoyable outcome. This was created using a pencil and a pen.
Consumption
This is a very casual quick doodle I made in my sketchbook of a random creature/monster. These are the kind of drawings I like to make in my spare time. Not really sure why, but I always enjoy drawing with my pen and creating weird and horror-type artwork. I enjoy coming up with different creatures and just how creative I can get with making up new designs and how creative I can get with it. I figured I'd include something of my own personal enjoyments to get an idea of who I am as an artist. The Seeker animation is from a creature doodle I had called The Seeker, which is why I made an animation out of it. I hope to be able to create
